I'm on base with not much to do, it's been a quiet start. My crewmate has just shown me this picture which made me chuckle. If only all our elderly residents were as fit as this!

I used to regulatily pick up a 94 yr old male patient who used to have recurrent problems with an inguinal hernia. He spent his life as a circus acrobat and he used to always do a little "display" of his fitness when we went to pick him up which wasnt too dissimilar to the photo above. He was a fab character!
Hi, I'm Mac and yep this is yet another paramedic blog. I work on the south coast at a busy ambulance station. I stumbled across some other blogs and thought i might give it a go. The usual personal details are altered due to patient confidentiality. My views are my own and do not reflect that of any ambulance service that i may or may not be working for.
I'd like to write a book about my experiences but every one is doing this and I don't think I've got what it takes. This is just a bit of education for joe public and also some tales from the street, new and old. Enjoy!
